Bree's surgery went well. The doctor said that they got all the portions that they were hoping to. The surgery time was a little bit later than we had expected. We were told 130 and it ended up being 230. Her surgery lasted from 230 to about 430. Adam and I were in the waiting room during that time...me reading a book and Adam watching SpongeBob. (of course!)
When she got out of surgery she was still on a ventilator due to the anesthesia that was used during the surgery. I just called and got an update (7:49 pm), and she is still on the ventilator because she is having a hard time waking up from the anesthesia. We were told that it takes some kids an hour, while others can take 5-6 hours to wake up from it.
Grandma Ogden (Nana) is going to be coming into town tonight so we are going to stop and see her since the airport is right by the hospital. I will update more when I get more info!
Let's all praise God and give thanks for his faithfulness and healing...he is an awesome God!
