7:30 update!
I called and got our update...no news on the xray of her belly and her intestines. The nurse I spoke to, Amanda, said that it was not mentioned to her in report so hopefully that means no news is good news, but she is going to double check for me. They did switch her to the regular ventilator, but she did not maintain her blood gases where they wanted them so they switched her back to the jet ventilator. So, she has had a bit of a down day today, but that's okay. The next few months are going to be full of good days and not so good days...this is just one of the not so good days. We hope that she has a good night of rest and a better day tomorrow....
